Support Social Entrepreneurship Google's 10 to the 100 competition calling for votes

Dear All,

As a fellow Changemaker, we thought you would be interested in knowing that Google's Project 10 to the 100 has identified social entrepreneurship as one of the top 16 ideas that will change the world. Now they are asking you to vote to help them identify the biggest opportunity for change.

As an organization which has been promoting social entrepreneurship for almost 30 years we know that nothing creates a greater impact than a visionary social entrepreneur who can identify solutions where others only see problems, empowering their community to bring about change.

If you share our belief in social entrepreneurship please vote for the social entrepreneurship idea, or vote for another of your favorite ideas. You may also nominate an organization who you feel is best placed to carry out the idea.

Google will commit $10 million to organizations to implement the top 5 ideas (as nominated by the public and an advisory board.)

Be sure to vote by October 8, 2009.

If you would like to spread the word about this competition feel free to use this sample Tweet: "Do you believe that Social Entrepreneurship changes the world? Vote for the #SocEnt idea in Google's 10 to the 100 comp: http://bit.ly/RkvME"

Sincerely,
