NYSA & Al Jazeera's Kenya Voices Volunteer Project

Friends---
As we head to the Elections, many eventful experiences will be taking place, and the need to amplify the voices from the communities on election and leadership news.

The National Youth Sector Alliance is partnering with the Al Jazeera New Media Department to roll out a volunteer citizen reporting project for over and after the elections.

This is a mobile voice project where you can listen to Al Jazeera news bulletins and record audio citizen reports all via a toll free phone call. There is absolutely no charge for the phone calls.

We want to hear and document voices in from all over the 47 Counties, focusing on those that don't have access to the internet, perhaps TVs or even electricity but have interesting stories about how the elections are impacting their communities.

NYSA is looking for Youth Leaders who want to play a role in broadcasting these stories. The role of the youth leaders will be
  1. to use the audio reports on their programmes,
  2. Promote the number to call, as well as
  3. Moderate the reports that have been submitted to ensure that audiences access the most credible, interesting, eloquent voices.

The National Youth Sector Alliance would like to engage with volunteer - active, motivated Kenyans with opinions and stories.

If you are interested to volunteer for this project please send me
  1. Your name
  2. Age
  3. Phone Number
  4. Location
My email address is emmanuel.dennis@gmail.com

Kind regards,

ED
